Meet Charlie, My Travel Gnome
World meet Charlie.
A long time ago I watched something in YouTube that changed my life. If you want the same life-changing experience, click here.
I told you it is life changing.
For the longest time, I have been searching for a travel gnome. Something convenient that I could take with me whenever I travel. I even forgot about my search for a travel blog until this past fine Saturday morning.
Before proceeding to Brgy. Pundakit, where the pumpboats to Anawangin can be chartered, we dropped by the town market of San Antonio first to buy supplies.
It was the usual fare : pork, cooking oil, some seasonings, booze, ice, soda. Coming back to the car, a stall selling inflatable toys and floaters caught my eye. Curiously hanging, stringed with the other inflatables was shiny red horse, gathering dust, seemingly waiting for his rightful master.
The search was over. I even got an instant name for him: Charlie (pronounced Cha-lee, with the soft, dreamy drawl). He’s red, very attractive in photos, has a fierce stare and he’s conveniently portable. Just drain the air out of him and he’ll fit almost anywhere! And he reminds me so much of those stupid, druggy unicorns.
Someday, you’ll meet Charlie too!

Just saw the video. LOL! I wonder what will they do with that kidney hehe.
