Id Like to Go There Again

I had my first cruise last month and it was with Costa Cruises. Their ship was great and I didn’t even have time to get bored. Firstly as a great fan of billiards, I spent my free time the first day playing it and I met some of the people on the same cruise. They all had a great sense of humour and at one time we were laughing more than we were playing billiards.

The second day I thought I should do something else and went for a walk along the ship. I saw the notice board saying that there was going to be a jazz concert that night. I’m not really a great fan of that music, but I thought that I should give it a try and I went to the concert. Costa Cruises might have hired a band that I have never heard of, but they gave them a chance and the band took it. It was really great and I did lots more stuff and as I already said I didn’t have time to get bored.

Currency for Excursions with Norwegian Cruise Lines

The Norwegian Cruise Lines have a cash free system to ensure a smooth trip in terms of money. But you will still need to carry cash. You don’t need it on the ship. But when you make excursions, you will want to carry some local cash. It is a wise idea to do this. Although most shops and restaurants and other facilities on shore will accept credit cards, some local stalls and souvenir shops in the boutiques and bazaars might not. Travelers checks can be changed into currency with services set up on board the cruise. All the cash you need to carry is for shopping on shore as the excursions are prepaid and need to be booked months ahead. Some of these are included in the all-inclusive package offer by some luxury cruises. Also, these excursions have limited spaces, so sign up when they are announced, sometimes 6 months before. Don’t count on last minute bookings.
