Having a beautiful and luscious set of eyelashes has long been a symbol of beauty for men and women around the world. There are many different causes, both physical and mental, which can make naturally growing eyelashes difficult or even impossible. If you have had a traumatic facial injury, this can cause the absence of hair follicles in the eyelid which makes growing eyelashes on your own unattainable. This example, as well as many more, can make eyelash transplantation surgery the perfect choice in gaining the eyelashes you have always wanted. Eyelash transplantation includes removing hair follicles from other areas of the body and implanting them in the eyelid. This has proven itself time and again to be an excellent solution for patients everywhere in achieving a beautiful set of eyelashes. Finding a doctor who specializes in this popular procedure is important in ensuring that the process is performed as safely and effectively as possible.

Surgeons started to use a hair implant procedure to deal with balding problems clear back in the 1950′s but they did not have good results. In fact, it looked absolutely horrid. The next appearance of hair implants was a bit appealing. Although it still needed cutting out a piece of scalp, the unit follicles were extracted from these bands and cleaned. Then, the doctor would insert these unit hairs into the bald area. This process left scars at the donation area, but in any case the transplanted hairs could be implanted so they fitted the directional growth of the existing hairs.
Currently, the surgeon can take away the follicular units right from the skin without doing any incising using the Direct Hair Implantation technique. The same device used for removal is then used to insert the hair follicles into the bald area. This permits for accurate positioning and also decreases the need for stitches. This procedure has turned from something that is absolutely terrible looking to something that you will be proud and happy to have done. You can now recapture your lost youth and be the man you want to be instead of being the guy known as old baldy.

I have heard scalp massage is a good way to prevent hair loss but I don’t know how to apply it. Do you pour it on with a spoon, or with a sponge, or what?
Oh that is simple – just use your fingertips, Pour a small amount into a dish, then dip your fingertips in and apply directly to your scalp, massaging gently as you do so.
Repeat until entire scalp is moist. Apply just to scalp, not the hair itself. The first time you do this will be a deep conditioning and cleansing of the scalps pores, so it will take longer. For this first massage, once you have thoroughly massaged the oil into the scalp, use a comb to pull the oil from the scalp down to the ends of the hair. Then heat a moist towel in the microwave and cover the entire hair with it, re-heating as necessary until an hour has elapsed. Follow this heat treatment with a good shampoo with an all herbal shampoo (no more chemicals or phosphates) and follow with an herbal conditioner on the ends if needed.
There are different carrier oils you could use, but essential herbal oils are especially effective to stimulate blood flow and nourishment to the hair follicles. One place to find the best oils are East Indian Stores or online at sites like Nara or Mira.
